Do the thing.

What is that one thing? You know that one thing that you need to do, but you keep procrastinating on doing it. The one that you think about several times a week and just haven't done. Yeah, what's that one thing?

Is it a cabinet you want to organize? A closet you need to go through? Maybe a bathroom you need to scrub? A stack of mail that needs sorting? What is that one thing for you?

For me it was my van. We took a trip and then we got back and there was stuff to do. So we kept adding stuff on top of stuff. It was totally overwhelming and every time I opened one of the side doors I cringed. It was the job that was constantly on my mind.

Why didn't I make time and clean it? Because I deemed it not as important as the other things, but you know what it was important to me. That's why it was always on my mind.

It is extremely important that you set aside time for what you deem as important. It took less than an hour to clean it out completely and even vacuum it. And more importantly it isn't taking up mental space or causing me stress anymore.

So what's that one thing for you? Set aside time this week to tackle it and get it done. It is important to you, so move it up on your priority list. Yes your family is more important, but you can block an hour or two for you and something on your list.

Free up that brain space! Get it done!
